First of all, thank you so much for following Michael's Road to Recovery after all these years.
Wanted to share an update. He'll be graduating High School at the end of June 2017 with a Regents Diploma. Michael also was accepted to SUNY Albany (ranked 4th out of all SUNY schools). He'll major in environmental science, with plans to get his Masters of PhD, with a goal of working for the National Weather Service.
Here's a recent video of Michael accepting the "Student of the Year" award from the Long Island Assoc. of Special Education Admins. His Football Coach nominated him... Great job Michael!!!
